ICM Awarded Second Place Within the Specialty Division, 200,000 – 450,000 Work Hours

Industrial Constructors/Managers, Inc. (ICM) is proud to announce that it has been given a Construction Safety Excellence Award by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). This prestigious award recognizes ICM’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and health in the construction industry. The company was selected as the second place winner in the Specialty Division for 200,000 – 450,000 work hours.
The AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) is the industry’s elite safety excellence awards program. It recognizes companies that have developed and implemented premier safety and risk control programs and showcases companies that have achieved continuous improvement and maintenance of their safety and health management systems.
“Each year we work on making our safety program even more ironclad so that all of our employees can do their work safely and with the utmost integrity,” said Ed Myers, president of ICM. “From mandating that every employee participate in daily safety meetings and inspections, to incorporating new safety technology into our workflows, we’re committed to doing everything we can to make our jobsites as safe as possible. This award is a testament to those efforts and to our team’s dedication to safety excellence.”
ICM was selected as a winner after being judged by a panel of five independent construction safety and health professionals. Final judging for the awards program took place during the AGC’s annual convention in Columbus, Ohio. ICM is one of seven Colorado-based winners.
“It can be easy to push the same safety buttons every day, but we know complacency is ultimately what causes accidents,” said Dave Montoya, safety director for ICM. “That’s why we work so hard to bring safety to the forefront every day, on every job, making it an inherent part of everything we do.
