ICM is an industry leader in concrete projects. Whether it’s concrete for a foundation or structural elements, our concrete masons will work to ensure a high-quality result that’s on time, on budget and within the project scope. Our concrete services include reinforced concrete, structural foundations, housekeeping pads, and precast concrete and can include greener, more sustainable forms of concrete. Some of our concrete construction projects, both big and small, include:

• Installing a new concrete foundation to replace one that was failing at the Evraz Steel Recycling Plant. The concrete foundation held 600,000 pounds of equipment and had to be removed and replaced as the first step to overhauling all of the equipment.
• Line pumping concrete up to 300 feet to cover holes from plumbing work, replacing original concrete walls with cast-in-place concrete and pouring lightweight concrete for the press box and ADA platforms at the Cadet Field House at the United States Air Force Academy.
• Installing a new concrete foundation for the Fort Carson Army base fire station that could withstand the weight of several fire trucks. This project had to follow strict Army Corps of Engineers guidelines and also used a greener type of concrete that comes from recycled limestone.
• Constructing a concrete wet “ash bunker” at an Xcel Energy utility plant. The bunker is 10-feet tall, 45 x 170 feet wide, and can hold an estimated 5.7 million pounds of ash water. ICM also installed the project’s foundation work, process piping and pump skids, including nearly 3,500 feet of process piping to tie the existing ash water lines through a treatment system and then back to the settling ponds.
