In accordance with the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act (PBRA), which was signed into law on December 23, 2024, there have been some important updates regarding the distribution of 1095-B/1095-C tax forms:
• Employers are no longer required to send 1095-B/1095-C tax forms to covered individuals.
• Employees retain the right to request a copy of the 1095-B/1095-C form.
• If a request for a form is made, it must be provided by the employer no later than January 31st, or 30 days after the request is made, whichever is later.
